Cube Molds

for Cement Testing

Cube Molds

Cube molds are commonly used in cement, mortar, grout and concrete compound testing to examine the compressive strength of various mixes. They work to prep sets of samples before further analysis. Cube testing is both a simple and accurate way to ensure cement quality in the field and therefore important in many areas of construction.

Humboldt provides a variety of cube molds to meet specific ASTM and AASHTO standards. These are available in materials and shapes to fulfill all of your testing needs.

Diagonal Brass Cube Molds are a versatile mold option that prevent spreading when testing. These configurations are available in both 2” and 50mm options.

Our Parallel Stainless Steel Cube Molds are found in a three-gang arrangement. They are fitted with angles perfect for attaching to baseplate studs.

Only available in a 2” option, Diagonal Stainless Steel Cube Molds work to keep the sample in place with a reinforcing rib design.

Humboldt provides Expansive Grout Cube Molds made of both brass and stainless steel. Both include a detachable base plate and top plate, making grout testing as simple as possible.

The Econ-o-Cube is a lightweight plastic mold for internal quality control programs. This 2” option is held together with self-aligning thumbscrews to ensure an even fit.

Stamped Construction Cement Cube Molds are able to be used with cement, gypsum, lime, mortars and more. Because they do not meet ASTM and AASHTO specifications, individual measurements are necessary.

To perform hydraulic mortar tensile strength tests, Briquette Molds are available. They include bronze clamps with pins to hold the two mold halves securely during testing.

All of Humboldt’s cement cube molds are made of high-grade, durable materials allowing them to perform well over time. For additional questions or help selecting cube testing equipment, please call us at 1.800.544.7220 or use our Ask Humboldt form.
